Accreditation
We are full members of the Scottish Building Federation, Constructionline and SELECT. In January of 2014 we were delighted to be awarded BeFair Accreditation and more importantly, to be able to say that we are the ONLY Small Main Contractor in Scotland to have achieved this to date!
We were chosen by the Construction Industry Training Board as one of the few UK companies to pilot the new accreditation aimed at demonstrating a commitment to fairness, inclusion and respect within the workplace. We were one of around 100 UK employers who applied to take part in a pilot roll out of the programme nationally with only 70 of these companies being accepted.
Over a 10 month period, with a lot of long hours and hard work we successfully achieved accreditation. We consider this to be proof of our commitment to promoting a fairer working environment for our staff and our supply chain, something which Macform have always promoted, which ultimately leads to a contented and dedicated workforce who deliver an outstanding end product, every time!
